Eddie Waters (Travis Tritt)
Country Western Legend Travis Tritt plays the role of “Eddie Waters”. Being a strong and faithful Christian man himself, Travis portrayed “Eddie” in a very convincing manner. “Eddie Waters” plays a pivotal role while befriending Pete upon his arrival at the Georgia State Penitentiary after he has been wrongly convicted of a murder he didn’t commit. Eddie’s subtle perseverance helps Pete maintain his faith in both God and humanity during his lonely and grueling life behind bars.
Chief Carver (Michael Rooker)
Michael Rooker plays the role of “Chief Carver”. Mr. Rooker has experience in multiple feature films such as JFK, Tombstone & Days Of Thunder. His professionalism was quite apparent as he worked along side Ray Wise. Chief Carver is the Chief of Police for the small town Bainbridge, GA. His callous character is heavily influenced by Herbert LeeMaster’s power and money.
Herbert LeeMaster (Ray Wise)
Veteran Actor Ray Wise plays the role of “Herbert LeeMaster” in “Fishers Of Men”. A true professional both on & off set, Ray portrayed “Mr. LeeMaster” with a flair of confidence of the highest caliber. “Herbert LeeMaster” is a wealthy business tycoon in Bainbridge, who will stop at nothing short of perjury, bribery & extortion to close a business deal and protect his family name.
MacCaire LeeMaster(Robyn Lively)
Robyn Lively has served as a reoccurring and guest star on Mentalist, Saving Grace, 30 Rock, Criminal Minds, Nip / Tuck, CSI: New York, The District, X-Files and many more! Robyn played the Wife of Herbert Leemaster. She is a beautiful, experienced and very talented actress who complimented Ray Wise very well in their role as the Parents of Gordon LeeMaster.
Pete Goodwyn (Alex Miller) & Andy Goodwyn(Graham Miller)
Desert Wind Films has selected Alex and Graham Miller to play our identical twin brothers, Pete and Andy Goodwyn.
Alex Miller played the role of “Pete Goodwyn”. Pete’s goal in life was to become a preacher after graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1957’. These plans were shattered when he was convicted for the murder of the love of his life “Maggie Maloye” who was played by The Bold & Beautiful star, MacKenzie Mauzy. Pete & Maggie share a special bond. The only thing in life they love more than one another is their unyielding love for God.
Graham Miller played “Andy Goodwyn” in “Fishers Of Men”. Graham, the rougher of the twin brothers, is plagued with anger and bitterness towards God and humanity after the loss of his Parents at a young age. His life is then turned upside down by the death of Maggie, and Pete’s conviction of her murder. Andy follows his Brother’s ambitions and becomes a Preacher himself. It’s during this journey that Andy is led to Christ, and eventually his ultimate sacrifice. This bittersweet sacrifice is a product of forgiveness, redemption and salvation that ring true to the meaning behind “Fishers Of Men”.
Maggie Maloye (MacKenzie Mauzy)
MacKenzie Mauzy was casted to play the role of our beautiful blonde hair and blued eyed, good ole Christian girl, Maggie Maloye. MacKenzie has a very extensive list of credits including but not limited to the following: Drop Dead Diva, CSI, Law & Order, and The Bold & Beautiful. It’s Maggie’s death that puts Pete & Andy’s lives into a tail spin.
Gordon LeeMaster (Daniel Samonas)
Daniel Samonas played the role of Bainbridge bad boy “Gordon Leemaster”. Daniel was tremendous as “Gordon” in “Fishers Of Men”. His Daddy Herbert LeeMaster runs the town, and Daniel portrays this egotistical role with a Southern zest that will be hated by all. Daniel was a big hit in the town of Bainbridge while DWF was on set. His credits on I-Carly & Wizards Of Waverly Place made him a very recognizable face with the youth throughout the town and on set.
Ginny Wonders (Noell Coet)
Noel Coet played the role of “Ginny Wonders” in “Fishers Of Men”. It’s Ginny who’s testimony is bought by Herbert LeeMaster, and inevitably persuades the jury to find Pete guilty of assaulting Gordon, and guilty of murdering Maggie Maloye. Noel brought her own flair to this role, and is a tremendously talented young actress.
