Desert Wind Films would like to invite you to join the “Fishers of Men” movement. The movie, Fishers of Men, is a revolutionary story that has sparked a movement in Christianity throughout the U.S.
Though “Fishers of Men” is still being edited and is scheduled to hit the theaters in Fall of 2011, people are joining the movement by becoming a fisher of men. Well, “What is a fisher of men?” you might be asking.
We Are Called To Be Fishers of Men
Christ said in the book of Mark when speaking to his disciple Simon and his brother Andrew ”Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
To those of us who are involved, “Fishers of Men” means that Christ would use us to bring non-believers into a loving relationship with our creator. Our method of doing this is through the entertainment industry. The way you “fish for men” will be unique to your God-given talents, however together we will change this World for the better.
Fishers of Men Evangelism
Traditionally, evangelism is a bit awkward, though absolutely necessary. We at “Fishers of Men” have taken something like salvation and made it conversational yet highly effective. How so? Instead of pulling out your Bible and walking someone down Romans Road you can simply pull out a movie ticket and say, “ Hey, do you want to hang out on Friday?”
Afterwards simply ask your friend, “What did you think of the movie?” “What did you think about Andy’s confession?” “Have you made a similar confession?”
Fishers of Men, is not only entertaining but sparks conversations regarding salvation. In short the movie, Fishers of Men is causing a movement and people like you have been e-mailing/asking how they can get involved and show their support.
